WitchQueen (WQ)
Events / Community
The name WitchQueen is very well known in the world of APB for the multitude of varying types of events hosted between now and all the way back to 2012. WQE has been the foundation of events which are hosted up till today, which proves the impact that WQE has had on multiple generations of APB players that come and go. WitchQueen is also known for his YT channel 'APB Torque', highlighting APB news, quirks and updates.
WitchQueen Events is alive in full today, with a dedicated Discord community and various events that are being hosted every week. The Discord community is an open community for everyone, and joining it is as easy as pressing the button below.
The SPPA has a strong bonding with WQE. The open nature of WQE has given the SPPA members an extra place to enjoy the best side of APB. Especially with WQE's CCC event, there has always been plenty to do and enough to look forward to each week. In this way WQE has had a direct influence in the good atmosphere that the SPPA members have.
The event that never sleeps. Running for years non-stop, twice a week, the CCC event brings together the car enthusiasts of APB. CCC offers a place to meet like-minded people who have an interest in (APB) car designs and just as important: doing races around various race tracks in Financial and Waterfront district in any car that the participant likes to use.
Over the past years it has formed a strong community who are guaranteed to show up at each of the CCC events, although still very open to any and all who'd like to join the weekly event and community.
The SPPA is majorly involved in CCC. The SPPA members can be seen roadblocking multiple intersections to prevent civilian traffic from interfering with the racers who try to put up their best laps. If the SPPA members are not roadblocking, they can be seen racing themselves or just standing on the sidelines holding staring contests.
Chipp's Car Club can be found on the G1 Forums, here, or by joining the WQE Discord:
One of WitchQueen's community related efforts is the YouTube channel called 'APB Torque', on which WQ made numerous videos about different aspects of APB, including community events, APB update news and back then, the news around APB 2.1 Beta.
Currently there are no new videos being posted regularly on the channel, but it still serves as a beacon of different happenings in APB over the past years.
A famous event hosted by WQ is the 'Pay 2 Grief' community event. The purpose of this event is exactly how it sounds — stop WQ in his vaquero by any means, with the player causing the final ram or push earning a reward. Usually it was done with multiple rounds in a streak, giving a nice total rewards amount in APB cash.
Below is a highlighted video of one of many P2G events. More streams and videos about this particular event can be found on the APB Torque YT channel.
